Winter Wedding at EAA Airventure Museum Oshkosh, WI

Everything about Matt & Kate's Christmastime wedding was absolutely perfect!  Even the chilly temps couldn't stop us from sneaking in some snowy outdoor images.  And with a large audience at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Oshkosh and a full room of guests that traveled near and far for dinner at EAA Airventure Museum, it's apparent how much these two are loved!  And to make the day even sweeter, they now share the same anniversary as Matt's grandparents that were wed on the same day at the same church 67 years ago.  Now how cute is that?!

The whole day was simply heartwarming and inspiring from beginning to end.  To glance around the room at dinner and see the bridal party seated at two tables brought tears to my eyes.  My heart was filled with so much happiness seeing these two surrounded by lots of love and hearing them speak kind words about their parents and other loved ones celebrating with them.  Of course every wedding is marked by those spontaneous moments and the speeches did not disappoint!  You see, these two currently reside in Fairbanks, Alaska and that isn't usually a dream destination for most people to live in.  Inspired by the conversation that presumably took place between Matt & Kate, Matt's brother Andrew and Kate's maid of honor Megan, acted out a skit with their version of that conversation.  Of course that drew lots of laughter!  And to top off the night, Kate and her dad shook things up and showcased their moves on the dance floor with a choreographed routine instead of the traditional father/daughter dance. Now that's how you create memories!

Matt & Kate, you had a stunningly beautiful day I know you'll remember for a lifetime.  I am so honored to have met you both and I can't thank you enough for choosing me to capture your memories.  Best wishes for your love story ahead and God Bless!
